Euro 08 KO-stage | 22:47

after 2 games of the knockout stage, germany n turkey have emerged as 2 of the last 4 semi-finalist. so which teams will fill up the other 2? it will be between netherlands v russia, and spain v italy. Pre-match analysis on next game:

netherlands v russia - netherlands played like champions in their last 3 games, brushing aside 2006 World cup finalists italy n france, 3-0 and 4-1 respectively. n even not at their full strength, they're able to be romania 2-0 comfortably. however. they need to continue this momentum in the knock-out stage. wat happened to portugal n croatia is a hint to the dutch, that no matter how well u play in grp stage, it is at the KO stage tat matters most. 1 game played badly, and out u go. they were able to rest most of their starting XI during the last game against romania. so base on fitness, the dutch will be more than ready.

Men to watch: Wesley Sneijder

Russia will be motivated by their 2-0 victory over sweden, where they owned the game. N against the dutch, they will need their 12th player, coach Guus Hiddink, to be tactically ready. Guus Hiddink knows the dutch, as he was their coach in the 1990s.

Man to watch: Audrei Arshavin

Verdict: The dutch to carry on their momentum. fitness will plays a big part. final score: 3-0 dutch
