how i wished i can break my own principle
my principle of not using vulgarities on my blog
pls pardon me when u read thru this post
cos after hearing something from a close fren of mine
i need to vent something out
partially for that fren of mine
partially for myself
so here it goes:

how smart do u all think u are?
no matter how clever u are,
u're just a human
u're gg to die one day
u're not born great
u're not born smart
u're not born with all the intelligence within u
just becos u work a little harder
(ok, maybe ALOT harder)
doesn't mean we're inferior
just becos u seem to know alot more than use
doesn't mean u can despise us
look down on us
call us names
label us useless
or render us with whatever s%#@ u think suits us
just becos we're abit different,
just becos we did something deemed bad

sometimes when we hav opinions or suggestions,
all U ppl did was to say
"nvm we find out ourselves"
just becos our GPA 2+
doesn't mean we're not gd
2+ means average
average doesn't mean bad
average means normal
normal means intermediate
understand?
U so-called genius

u may be study smart
but one thing is for sure
ur childhood would nv be as eventful as us
at least, ME
are u street smart?
u might know how to solve integration n differentiation
within a blink of an eye
but we know how to get to boonkeng from tampines in 10 mins

in 1 yrs time
u think ur lecture notes would be useful when u get into NS?
really?
do u think tat
just by reading thru those papes that u treated as "treasure",
u can do 10 pullups?
the only person in this world right now
that i think is street smart, study smart, and athleticism
is Mr Stanley Tan
n even he doesn't look down on ppl like me
so what gives u the right,
TO LOOK DOWN ON US?

i dun care whether i offended anyone
or everyone
if u felt offended,
then u're probably the one looking down on me
or others, for that matter
look into the mirror
n ask urself
DO U HAV MORE FRENS THAN WE DO?
HAV U EVER OFFENDED ANYONE WITH UR ATTITUDE?
u can say that u hav alot of frens
but are they genuine companion of urs?
(u nv expected me to use the word genuine, right? cos u LOOK DOWN ON ME)

i shall ask u a few questions:
wat if one day, someone look down on u
wat if one day, someone insults ur habit
wad if one day, by accident, u did something wrong in the future
do u wan ppl to degrade u?
u might say u wont
u wont look down, or u wont do something bad
i would say
"ask urself, n we shall see"
ask urself
whether u truly treat everyone the same
nv look down on us, or my frens
even once
we shall see
whether u wont do something wrong
if u would
then i would ask u

"do u wan ppl to look down on u"
"do u wan ppl to degrade u"
